Dar Ben Gacem offers 15 rooms in the Medina of Tunis: 7 rooms at Dar Pasha and 8 rooms at Dar Kahia. Because both historic Dars were restored with minimal structural alteration, each room has its own size, layout, furniture, and character. Rooms include private bathrooms and access to courtyard, rooftop, and dining areas.
Food & Beverage
Our rich Tunisian breakfast is served daily and can be included in the room fee. Breakfast can be served around the Dar, and our food is purchased from local suppliers and small businesses in the neighbourhood. Upon request, we prepare Tunisian meals for guests and adapt dishes to dietary needs or allergies when notified in advance.
Visit planning
Whether you are looking for something to do for one hour, half a day, or several days, we can propose activities and experiences around the Medina of Tunis and beyond. Guests can ask us about Medina walks, food shopping, cooking with our chef, calligraphy experiences, and cultural visits before or during their stay.
Laundry
We provide laundry services to guests upon request. We do not use a dryer and allow the sun to do its work, so please allow around 24 hours for laundry service.
Baby Sitting
We love families, and little guests bring us joy. Babysitting services can be arranged upon request with at least 24 hours of notice. Our babysitters are mothers from the neighbourhood.
Transportation
Upon request, we provide airport pick-up and drop-off. We also assist guests with transportation needs within Tunis or anywhere in Tunisia, including minibuses and group travel arrangements.
